Win a Cash Prize – Logo Design Competition

Would you like to win $150 just for doing what you love?

I’ve been aimlessly trying for a few weeks now to come up with a logo design for my Incomes International brand and since I’m not much of graphic designer (actually I’m pretty pathetic at it) I want to give you the opportunity to design one for me and win $150 cash for your efforts.

So I’ve decided that the best way to achieve my goal is to run this little competition and let you design it for me. I’m looking for something sharp, professional and that conveys the right image of my blog and my business. The concept should be somewhat related to making 6 figure income from anywhere in the world.

If you don’t yet understand who I am and what I am about read my about page here on my blog and look through the archives.

The rules are pretty simple:

Create the most amazing logo/branding image that you can come up with. Submit your entry either by leaving a comment in this post or via the contact form here on my blog. Make sure to include a url to your design image.

Once I see a design that stands out and makes me all gushy we’ll have a winner. The competition will run until a winner is selected and the prize money has been paid. You will also receive full public credits for your work on this blog and via Twitter.

You can submit as many entries as you like in fact the more the merrier!

Cash and publicity – what more could you ask for?

Things you need to know:

  • I am building a new theme from the ground up so your design does not need to maintain the color scheme of the current blog theme. You have complete freedom to create something totally new that I will then adapt the new theme to.
  • I will be using the logo for all my branding including my websites, email signature, RSS feed and twitter where you will get plenty of credit and exposure.
  • The winner must supply all image source files so that I can adapt it for various uses.
  • All rights will be transferred to me upon receipt of your prize money.
  • Prize money will be paid via PayPal so make sure you have an account if you expect to win.

Make certain that you tweet, digg, stumble or whatever so that all your friend get the chance to submit their designs too.

I’m looking forward to seeing what your creative juices can produce.

      I like the font and the colors, but not big on the icon. Probably lose the tag line too. the tag line is only relevant to the blog not to the brand. Sorry I probably should have made mention of that in the brief.

      Go to the about page and have a bit of a read about who I am and what this blog is about. Then use the concept of making an income from anywhere in the world. use your own skills to come up with a design.

      Other than that ask me specific questions about what you want to know and I’ll answer them the best I can.

        I’m not completely certain of what else you want to know. All the details are in the post and I can guarantee that you will be paid via PayPal as stated. There is no end date because I am only going to award the prize when someone can come up with a logo that is truly remarkable. As I said submit as many entries as you like.

    Entering the contest … wish you could put a deadline though just so it’s not so open ended. I think its better for you and those joining the contest. AND if you don’t like any of the designs submitted to just say that in the end, no winners, and extend the contest.

      I ran the competition at DP but no one was able to come up with anything that I liked.

      I’ve been running a number of competitions on DP for various things like logo’s and entire site designs so keep an eye out for my stuff and grab yourself some easy money.

      If I run anything specific to Incomes International then I will announce it here on the blog.

    There’s no wow factor. Take some time and give it some thought then get really creative. Needs to have an icon that can be used as part of the branding.

    Bottom line is want something that is attention grabbing, jaw dropping, simply stunning.

    I think you get the idea.

    OK I waded through all the spam in my junk box and found it. Nice concept, your definitely thinking outside the box. It didn’t take my breath away but you’ve got the idea of what I’m looking for. Try a couple of different ideas and let me see them.

    Let me first say it’s not exactly what I’m looking for BUT you’ve certainly got my attention. I like fresh approach. Keep in mind that I’m looking for something where the icon can be used as standalone say for favicon, product branding etc. Think of the Target branding. Stand alone image easily recognizable with an easy to read font.

    It’s a good design but it reminds me of Captain America and since I’m an Aussie I just couldn’t live with that.

    I thought about doing something like that to begin with but my only concern was that people might think I was being a fraud by not choosing a winner. That’s also part of the reason that the prize money is as high as I have made it. It’s a good suggestion so I’ll think on it for a couple of days and maybe I’ll put an end date on it and update the post to reflect that date and a disclaimer that if there is no design that I like then I’ll extend.

    this one’s the best so far imo…

    Maybe change the red arrow position to point diagonally to the right rather than curving straight up, kinda like a graph would… nice tones/highlights tho…
